Networked improvisation at UTS, Bon Marche Studio featuring Yavuz Uydu (Oud & Bendir), Roger Mills (processed trumpets) and Mark Francombe (guitar and processing) live from Oslo, Norway. Using the peer2peer streaming platform UStream, the ensemble performed a live set of freely improvised music. It was the ensembles first outing, and an interesting experiment in online collaboration in a live performance environment. The boundaries it imposed were quite severe but there were still so many possibilities. Simple and minimal is just so nice !
